Layered Laminated Wooden Bowls

This layered and laminated wood bowl is an extraordinary piece to display. The polished smoothness encourages handling, and each different angle provides another view of the unique grain patterns. Made by carefully hand turning each individually laminated ring of the bowl and then precisely fitting each layer to each other. These bowls are finished using an FDA approved food safe process, but should really be saved for displaying things like fruits, nuts or candies. The particular bowl pictured, crafted in maple and padauk woods, measures about 9 inches in diameter and is about 3 ½ inches tall.
