The trays are hand crafted in selected solid hardwoods, utilizing box joint joinery reminiscent of the Shaker tradition and craftsmanship. The edges are eased, inviting one to handle the piece and enjoy the warmth of the wood and the softness of the lines. The bottom is solid wood, and is secured in a dado to ensure stability and longevity. Each tray is hand-finished utilizing an old Shaker recipe suitable for showing foods such as fruits or nuts and the like.
