Precision 10-15 Countertop Tube & Battery Tester. Large meter, 8" across. Overall appearance is very good. Grey wrinkle painted metal cabinet shows little wear, no rust. There are 2 empty screw holes on left edge of cabinet, something appears to have been attached there but I don't know what. Chromed trim strips are excellent, no signs of pitting. Chromed lamp hood shows some minor pitting in test area that I cleaned with polishing compound (that cleaned area appears as a large rust spot in 1 photo, it is not rusted). Residue on lamp hood from a sticker. The metal front panel is little dirty but no major defects. Engraved panel markings are excellent. Tube chart moves freely but gets a little stiff near the ends. Very clean inside. Meter moves freely full scale, no sticking. In a brief test it showed a known good tube as bad but I didn't read the operating instructions thoroughly so perhaps I was doing something wrong. Eico 221 Vacuum tube voltmeter in original box. Overall appearance is very good, would be excellent except for small amounts of rust top rear & back of gray wrinkle painted metal case. Front panel & all markings are excellent. Handle is excellent. Dial is excellent. No probes. Came to life in a brief test, meter moves freely full scale, no binds. Box condition is very good. Homebrew VOM. This is a very well made unit but there is no brand name so it probably is a homebrew. 4 ohms scales topping out at 10 meg, 10ma & 100ma scales & 4 volt scales 10 - 500. Overall appearance is very good to excellent. Wood cabinet is solid, needs only polish. It looks like the builder pieced 2 cases together to make it deep enough to house the huge meter movement. It's very nicely done. The leather handle is stil very good. Plated hardware looks like it will polish up well. Black Bakelite panel and markings are excelent. Rubber feet need replacing. Tested the 10 & 50 volt scales, they are pretty accurate. Meter needle moves freely full scale, no binding. Includes 2 cloth covered test leads in excellent condition. Weston 489 DC Ammeter in velvet lined leather case with original test leads. Overall appearance is excellent. Black Bakelite base is excellent, no cracks or chips, needs only light cleaning. Same for metal meter housing. Mark on side of meter housing appears to be a smugged logo. Dial face is excellent. Meter moves freely full scale. It's marked 0-10 but full scale is 50 ma. No chips or significant scratches on the painted metal case. Front panel is excellent. Original power cord is excellent. Label on bottom is excellent. Didn't pull the chassis but looking through the I see only a little dirt, no rust. I had it up to 20 V at 3A in test, no noise other than fan, no excess heat.
