Spectra Sunglass transistor AM radio. Hong Kong, imported by Rudimac Corp. Overall appearance is very good. It appears that the tuning condenser is contained in one side piece & the rest of the radio is in the other one. Black plastic frames are in excellent condition except that they are slightly separated. That is: each side piece is comprised of 2 sections that open to access the components, they do not completely close . The pix show the problem clearly. The plastic may be able to be reshaped so they close completely. Battery compartment has very minor corrosion. Not tested. Novelty. Requires one #625 1.4 Volt button style batt. Metal running boards are very good. Dials are very good. Has all the lights & mirrors but missing hood ornament. 1931 Rolls Royce novelty transistor AM radio, brass. Japan. Has the hood ornament & all lights & mirrors. Overall appearance is very good except for pitting on the brass body & the metal running boards. I was able to polish one of the worst areas by hand using a polishing compound. (The photo makes it look horrible but it's really pretty good) Using a power buffer should restore it to a smooth finish. Dials are very good. Easily tuned a couple stations in a brief test. Motorola 6X31C 6 transistor AM radio. ca 1957 USA. Overall appearance is very good to excellent. Aqua metal case shows only the slightest wear & little dirt, beige back is the same. Beige plastic handle no cracks, little dirt. Beige volume knob & tuning knob are excellent. Beige plastic grille is excellent. Label inside is very good. Chassis is clean, little rust on frame of tuning condenser & speaker. Also there is a little corrosion on the battery terminals & a little rust on hinge behind battery holder. There are no other serious flaws with the back so it should be able to be used. The label & stand are very good. The grille & all front trim are very good. Label inside is very good. Star-Lite Deluxe Boy's 2 transistor AM radio. Japan. Overall appearance is very good to excelent. No cracks, chips or significant scratches on the ivory plastic front of the case but it needs some cleaning. Reverse painted logo is excellent. Dial is excellent Red back has light scratches & dirt but otherwise very good. Coin slot is very good to excellent. Chassis appearance is very good. Unable to tune any stations in a brief test but then I'm in a poor receotion area. The screw-in antenna is missing but with a short clip lead attached I could tune in my PC. Requires one 9 Volt batt. Granada "Antique Gramophone" AM transistor radio. Japan. Overall appearance is very good to excellent. Brown plastic cabinet has no cracks, chips or significant scratches. The radio overall needs a good cleaning & polish. I cleaned part of the horn with just a damp cloth but it took a bit of rubbing to get the dirt off. The hand crank on right side is volume control/switch. Turning the turntable tunes the radio. Some of the red paint trim is worn. Dial is very good. Didn't pull the chassis but the battery compartment is very clean. Easily tuned a couple stations in a brief test. Volume control needs cleaning. Requires one 9 Volt batt. Metal grille has a couple small dings, grille cloth is excellent. Dial is excellent. Black back is very good, no cracks or chips. Coin slot is very good. Label inside is very good. Chassis is very clean except very minor corrosion on battery holder & 1 spring terminal missing. Unable to tune any stations in a brief test, was drawing about 10ma but no sound at all. I see no cracks or chips on the red plastic case but there is a small mark on left side that will need to be buffed out. White plastic back is good. Black plastic grille is excellent. Brass dial screw & dial need a little more work. Battery cover is excellent. Missing the metal attachment from the right side. Chassis is super clean.
