Developed by the Royal Netherlands Chess Federation(KNSB), and taught with soaring success throughout Europe, the Dutch KNSB Scholastic Chess Course is hailed as "the most innovative chess instructional program in the world"; and it is now available for the first time in the United States exclusively through Cajun Chess! This celebrated chess tutorial system is the number-one course of its kind - to enable one to confidently teach kids the game, in the same way that European students have learned successfully the 'art of chess' for over 18 years. A five-step system: Consisting of five Trainer's Manuals, five corresponding Student Workbooks; and a complementary "Chess Tutor" CD, the course purports to be the first ever to take an absolute beginner in chess through five steps, over a recommended period of 3 to 5 years(dependent upon individual talent/ability and drive), to a USCF rating level of 2,200(master level).
