One end holds a JC Products dual reed for a raspy cottontail distress sound. This call can be used without covering any of the sound port holes for a raspy high pitch distress sound in all directions. By gently grasping the call around the sound port you can change the pitch and tone by squeezing more firmly or "massaging" moving your hand or fingers to create a multitude of distress sounds.
