Byron South - Bobcat Sound Library CD # BSCDBobc Through the years Bryon’s been asked for advice on what sounds he uses and what he prefers. There are many good sounds on the market today, however, most were recorded on older equipment, under less than ideal conditions, and played back through game calls using outdated technology. While these sounds and play back devices produced results, they still fell short of accurately reproducing the original sound. With today’s state of the art game calls we now have the ability to reproduce sounds more accurately, with amazing clarity and volume. This, without a doubt, will produce better results - but without good quality recordings these calls can’t reach their full potential. Realizing the potential of this new generation of game calls, Byron set out to capture the highest quality calling sounds available. He’s spent countless hours recording and testing these sounds with outstanding results. These are the sounds Bryon uses on his digital caller. He’s excited to finally be able to offer these sounds to you. 1. 004 Tom & Jerry This is a very busy sound of a feral cat and a rodent mixed together to create the excitement sometimes needed to get the bobcat's attention and keep him coming. 2. 005 Bobcat In Heat This is a very effective sound from mid-January through March, but can also be effective all year. Especially useful for coaxing in hung up bobcats. 3. 006 Rodent Distress Very high-pitched, busy sound with plenty of volume. 4. 007 Feral Cat Distress This is a great call for bobcats - especially around old farmsteads. In both CD format, and MP3 format. (When used in a CD player they will play for approximately 15 minutes per track, with four sounds per CD). The sounds are also on the CD in MP3 format for downloading to callers such as the FOXPRO FX3, Western Rivers Predation, Minaska Outdoors Bandit, and other callers that play mp3 format. |

These howls are non-threatening and can be used to call coyotes or evoke a response. 2. 001 Challenge Howls Just as the name implies. This sound is a very good sound to challenge a coyote on his home turf. 3. 002 Coyote Ki-Yi's This is the sound of a distressed coyote. Coyotes are usually paired up. This call is very effective for calling in the secong coyote of the pair. It can also be mixed with a distressed prey sound to create excitement. 4. 003 Canine Pups Very good sound all year long, but especially good during late winter, spring, and summer for problem coyotes. |
