Crosley 56PB tube type AM portable battery/AC radio. Very stylish radio. Overall appearance is very good to excellent except for dirt. No cracks or significant chips or scratches on the very substantial brown Bakelite case but it needs a good cleaning & polish. Handle is excellent. Dial & dial cover are excellent. Back is excellent. There is an open rectangle in the bottom of the radio that obviously had a cover of some type, possibly fiber board or metal, but that is missing. It's not something you'll notice when the radio is upright. Original power cord is mostly missing. What's left of it is too exposed to allow any testing. Chassis is clean, I observed no rust. Plastic. Requires at least 2 batteries. Approximate size in inches 13W, 6D, 10H. Item #7247 |
