Nakamichi 600 2 head cassette tape recorder. Overall appearance is very good to excellent. Black plastic case is excellent, all markings are clear. Metal front panel is dirty but no major flaws, just very small knicks along the edges. Front panel markings are excellent. Meter scales & glass are excellent. Original power cord is very good. Didn't pull the chassis but I see no indication of rust. It's basically working but will need probably at least cleaning of the drive mechanism. The previous owner said she hadn't used it for many years. When first tested it would play only for 10 - 20 sec then the Play button would pop up. After doing that for some time it started playing constantly. Then I recorded about 5 minutes worth, it sounded pretty good. Both meters work properly but 1 bulb is burned out. Includes the instruction manual. Missing 3 small plastic stoppers for the Bias controls. Approximate size in inches 16W, 9D, 7H. Item #7272 |
