Consul, Zephyr & Zodiac Mk II up to 204E-166610 (Consul) and 206E-152230 (Zephyr & Zodiac) are considered High Line models. This change occurred in February of 1959, but as imported vehicles were titled at the date of sale, the chassis numbers are more important.
Consul, Zephyr & Zodiac Mk II from 204E-166611 (Consul) and 206E-152231 (Zephyr & Zodiac) are considered Low Line Models. The new models are most easily distinguished by the addition of chromed headlamp surrounds and new lower roof pressings that reduced overall height by 1.5″.
