You fight for the glory of Valhalla with this 33 inch cm Steel Eirikr Viking Sword. It takes its design from a genuine Viking sword. This Stronghold LARP weapon has a lightweight, latex free construction safe for tough combat.

This sword is based on the Osted Sword found in 1887, the silver double-edged blade features a grooved pattern to mimic the welding pattern of the original. The Stronghold "H" adorns the tip of the blade.

DETAILS
This sword has a flat oval crossguard that features herringbone detailing. The hilt has a wood-like texture for an excellent grip. It ends with a mushroom-shaped pommel to keep your grip on the handle regardless of the motion of the blade. The pommel also features more of the herringbone detailing. Both the guard and pommel are a dark silver. Add this realistic LARP sword to your Viking costume or barbarian ensemble for a LARP event. It also works great at cosplay conventions or for theatrical productions.

Stronghold weapons are designed for tough LARP combat and have a unique Epic Foam construction that does not contain latex and requires little to no upkeep. They weigh the same as latex weapons, have cushioned edges, and are stab-proof, making them safe for LARP battle. The hilts are made of polyurethane foam for high detail and practically maintenance-free durability.

This weapon’s handle does not require any special maintenance, while the blade has a latex coating which needs a certain degree of maintenance. For this we recommend using silicone spray, which can be purchased from any home improvement store. We recommend using silicone on a regular basis, taking care not to apply the spray to the handle by first wrapping it in plastic-wrap. It maintains the latex-coat’s flexibility and prevents it from drying out, keeping the product wear and tear resistant. Spray on the silicone, wipe off the excvess, and wait 30 minutes.

If you wish to use a Stronghold Master Collection weapon for LARP combat, please make sure to apply a coat of silicon spray, available from any Home imrovement center to protect the paint finish on the blade. Marks on the weapons are to be expected, especially the darker tinted ones, after prolonged usage even with a protective coating.

Store your weapon in a cool, dry environment, and keep your weapon flat or on its pommel--NEVER on its tip. Wrap the weapon in a simple sheet or a towel to prevent it from touching a plastic or rubber surface, or another latex surface, to prevent your weapon from adhering to other products.
